Buzz Flabiano attended Plano East High School in Texas before starting his collegiate career at UTEP, where he served as the primary placekicker for two seasons and led the team in scoring with 59 points in 2023. As a sophomore, he converted all 28 of his extra-point attempts and registered 17 touchbacks on kickoffs. Following his time with the Miners, he transferred to Eastern Kentucky University ahead of the 2025 season, where he went a perfect 26-for-26 on PATs and hit a career-long 51-yard field goal.
