
Cole Hedlund is a former collegiate placekicker who played for the Arkansas Razorbacks (2015–2017) and the North Texas Mean Green (2018). A native of Argyle, Texas, he was a highly touted prospect coming out of high school, where he set national records for field goals made in a single season and a career. During his senior year at North Texas, Hedlund earned First-team All-Conference USA honors after converting 19 of 22 field goals and 51 of 54 extra points. Following his collegiate career, he went undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft and signed as an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts. While his collegiate journey saw him navigate both success and mental hurdles, he finished his tenure at North Texas as a Lou Groza Award semifinalist, reaffirming his ability as a clutch performer.
