
Daniel Trejo is a specialist who gained national attention for his unique journey from Texas Wesleyan University to the University of Texas, where he served as the starting punter during the 2022 season. After not playing football until his senior year of high school, he earned his spot at the Division I level through sheer perseverance and a breakout season that saw him average 42 yards per punt.
