Dylan Drennan attended Jesuit Dallas High School before starting his college career at the University at Buffalo. As a redshirt freshman, he averaged 44.8 yards per punt and placed 25 kicks inside the 20-yard line, earning Second-Team All-MAC honors and setting a school single-season record. Following his time at Buffalo, he transferred to the Purdue Boilermakers.
