Michael Turk is an accomplished punter and trainee of Scott Blanton who constructed one of the most prolific statistical careers in recent college football history. A native of Dallas, Texas, he earned All-Conference honors across three different programs—Lafayette, Arizona State, and Oklahoma. During his time at ASU, he set an NCAA single-game record by averaging 63.0 yards per punt, and he later earned back-to-back First-Team All-Big 12 honors with the Sooners. Showcasing massive leg strength and consistent ball-striking, Turk finished his collegiate career averaging 47.4 yards per punt—placing him near the all-time FBS record—before transitioning to the professional level with the Miami Dolphins.
