Stone Harrington attended Colleyville Heritage High School in Texas before joining the Texas Tech Red Raiders, where he developed into one of the nation's premier specialists. During his breakout junior season, he led the team in scoring with 107 points, connected on 22 of 27 field goals, and blasted a career-long 58-yard field goal against Utah. His historic campaign included setting a school single-game record with five field goals against BYU, earning him First-Team All-Big 12 honors and recognition as a Lou Groza Award semifinalist.
