Ty Cummings is a former collegiate placekicker who competed for the Houston Cougars from 2013 to 2016. A native of Spring, Texas, he established himself as a reliable and high-scoring specialist, notably leading the team in scoring during his senior season. His contributions were vital to the Cougars' success during a period of high program performance, including key victories in major bowl games. As a dedicated trainee of Scott Blanton, Cummings focused on refining his mechanics, ball-striking, and mental approach to build the technical precision and repeatable performance required for success at the Division I level.
